This be a bit much moovin watter even fer a Hippo (best 4x4 int hole whirl evver). Us took dugs up ont moors insted: Tiddun no fluddin up ont moors. Hopin us frens be stain safe this wethers.
Living in sheep country makes it impossible to let the dogs off the leads to have a run EXCEPT down by the river on the local common. Unfortunately, all roads leading that way were severely blocked, for some reason all our hill water seemed to be in a rush to get away to the rivers.

Have the conditions improved at all?I have lived in this area for almost twenty years now and I have never seen so much flooding.
It's still rainin' and the wind has not packed in yet but, compared to what it has been like, this is almost like summer!
I honestly don't know how building on flood plains is even allowed.
