Living in sheep country makes it impossible to let the dogs off the leads to have a run EXCEPT down by the river on the local common. Unfortunately, all roads leading that way were severely blocked, for some reason all our hill water seemed to be in a rush to get away to the rivers.:)

I have lived in this area for almost twenty years now and I have never seen so much flooding. Every road seems to be blocked at the moment.

Have the conditions improved at all?
It's still rainin' and the wind has not packed in yet but, compared to what it has been like, this is almost like summer!
The flooding, which fortunately does not affect us up 'ere, will not recede until the main Towy river is able to flow on to the sea - it is tidal up to about 30 miles from us - and that will take some time to empty the vast flood plains and cope with the water coming down from the 'ills. At least our flood plains have not been built on!
