Went to Wix this morning to collect me noo lawn sprinkler. Not had any rain for a while and ground is getting parched. Also got some noo 5mm and 6mm HSS drill bits as the ones I have been using for the last couple of decades are now scrap.

... I saw the MIL in hospital this PM.
Not great, but brighter than last time.
Kept reporting to me that there were flies all over her bed sheets and occasionally that I had flies all over my face.
I kept telling her there were no flies and that it's just "floaters" in her eyes.
Her leg wound has started to deteriorate again and so it's back to surgery, and more weeks in hosp.
I cannot see her coming out of hospital TBH, except in a box.
But fear not! Her loving granddaughter has booked a crucially important chiropodist to come and do the old gal's toenails.
Sadly the person who has done the booking cannot attend....so can my wife do it all?

These passive-aggressive bystanders are so divorced from what is really important they are all concentrated on the external aspects and not what is really happening.
