Yes, but the Roman road has lasted 2,000 years. ;)
Maybe we should return to Roman roads and cobbled streets. As the concept of laying decent tarmac to your average Irish travelling community falls on deaf ears.πŸ™„
Theses days instead of some Irish woman turn up with several kids in tow selling lucky white heather and clothes pegs. It's Paddy's pals fobbing off several bags of recycled nicked loose tarmac🀨 Thanks Ireland think I prefer the Leprechauns pot of gold.

Who puts all this in place though? This is an independent lady that won't hear of "home-help's, cleaners, carers" (all of whom she classes as "strangers") in her home. But currently she is so frail and in such a mess we may get away with it.
I will contact the Council Social Care Dept. about Independent Living Support.

Get Occupation Therapy on-side it's easier as well ...

Hi TT, thanks for asking mate.
It is still complaining now and then (sometimes quite sharply).
I think it objects to supporting such a lardy-bastid as me. ;)
I am trying to lose the weight but the damage is probably already done, and at 70+ it ain't going to get any better. :(
I should also try some exercises specific to the muscles that support the knee joint, I fail miserably due to laziness I fear.

Can I suggest going swimming, its great for non stress exercise (unless you cant swim) 🀣 🀣
Steam room & sauna is great for relaxing plus you get a good swatch. mmm might not be good for your blood pressure. :p

Went to see the Landy mad neighbour this p.m. Found myself leaving at about 7 p.m. The guy talks non-stop but fortunately what he talks about is interesting. He knows a lot about LR products. But we talked about a lot of other stuff as well.

He told some really funny stories as well, nice to chat with someone with a good sense of humour.

He gave me some "bonnes adresses" for buying Landy bits and says he has a pump somewhere that I could use to pump the oil out of the Disco when it comes to doing the job. ;)

Sleep well all.:):):)

Morning All. :D
A wet and rainy day here in Benfleet. :(
The fasting ends just after lunchtime. That's about 90 hours without food. :)
Some decent weight loss, (5 &1/2 pounds) and no real struggle.
Now to steer clear of heavy carbs to continue the trend. :)
Have a great day! :D
