Morning dull but dry here.
Had to deliver W to dottirs as they are going "shopping" in Pompey today.
I also had to show dottir how to work W's wheelchair, so she can fold it up etc.
Got back to find the noo calliper and the rebuild kit had been delivered. Just need to buy some noo Dot 4.
Before that though got to ring sewing machine man as he has told W he can't fix it, it'll be interesting as I am sure there is a workaround. the problem is not getting it to run, it is to stop it!
Have a good day all!!:):):)

Both me and the sewing machine repair man checked the pedal out, it isn't that. Originally he agreed that it might be a capacitor in there. He has had it a few weeks and when I talked to him he told me he had spent two days trying to find out the problem. But he didn't go for the thing I think it is. He claimed it was hard to get apart and he didn't want to risk it in case he couldn't get it back together again. (He's more of a man with a quilting machine who does that and plays with peeps sewing machines in the meantime. He always has loads. Guess he only knows how to do certain jobs.)

I have just joined a sewing forum (Yes, HUGE rolleyes) and have been told I have to be an "active member" for 5 days before I am allowed to post. :( It's a Pfaff 297, a very old metal bodied machine. W used to make the kids clothes on it.
So if I get any help from them, or even if I don't, I now have nothing to lose if I take it apart and play with it.
There are hundreds of pages on the machines it would take a lifetime or two to go through them. They made SOOO many different models.

Didn't know ALDI existed that long ago!

Shows we don't shop there!!!🤣🤣🤣

Tis cats n dogs here, hope yous have better weather than us.
Got a noo bt hub to fit so better be off & see how many swear words it takes me to link everything back online.
We got one too, works fine. The password, as you've probably already found is on a removable plastic tab on the back so at least you take it away and sit down with your machines and do the biz. Unless the noo model don't have it in which case..... time to write it down.:eek::eek:
