Yep, I have one on my oldest kit car, and yes, sadly, they don't make 'em anymore!Some old skool solenoids had the ability to push the button in the middle so you don’t need an assistant.
Doubt there’s many of them about these days, shame really, but then a spanner/screwdriver works too

You could always fit some sort of switch or rig a temporary one, peeps who came to your house to tune your car used to have push button ones they plugged in.
I have seen kit cars with all sorts of stuff under the bonnet. apart from lights, I've seen instruments and switches. Mostly to help when tuning.
