Morning folks hope we are all well.
"dobber" = "sweeheart".
Hmm!
And the Sinead thing fooled me, it made me think of Skinheed O'Connor (RIP).
Well I have just found our what "dobber" means and considering the English term "to dob someone in" (or is that from Ozzie land?) That made me laugh. But also to find that it can be used both as an insult and as a term of affection!
It also said "See "walopper" which made me laugh again due to its spelling, as we would spell it "wallopper" or "walloper" I think.
I do love these little Scots language lessons!

Nae lassie, it should be spelled "abed" as in asleep, afoot etc.Pure ignorance for dialects

looks about 5/6k on parts & who knows on labour cutting welding fab work. Needs a few things
to be expected as its an old disco but its solid & needs no welding. Bit of a working project good mot
until june next year so plenty time to put it right.
