Afternoon folks :).

Been busy doing not to much cos of the heat, but got to do a little bit each day.
M was off to the shops but because of a low looking tyre she got out our blowey thing we have in the back. Let her get on with it, came back in and said "needs a new valve, where's the valve kit?" Yep we have a valve insert kit. So I went and checked the wheel nope a valve insert isn't gonna get it, Its the actual valve rubber split (had 1 on the fender last year) so stuffed a handy bit of twig in the right side so it wasn't hissing out and got it in the garage to change for the spare. So shopping didn't happen and now I am gonna have to have chips with me chicken instead of salad:rolleyes:.

Sure in the UK they change the valve when tyres are changed, probably not here so need to make sure they all get changed.

On a lighter note we had this bird coming down the road other day shouting not sure what about.

Dont see many not like in the UK, but apparently they are about and we do have forest and long grass cover out the back.

cock pheasant young one got a short tail

Sprained me right ankle yesterday. And again this morning. Managed to drive 60 miles on it ok, and did a bit of work at the dottirs house, not too much trouble from the ankle while I was busy using it. But after half an hour resting it this afternoon, laid on the sofa ordering service items online for the family fleet of cars, it tightened up and got all hurty. After a working life which sustained many similar injuries, I resorted to wearing mostly hiking boots as everyday clogs, and for the past 20+ years have remained mostly ankle injury free. Sod this hot weather and the sandals I wore for the past 2 days .
