Its just like work but without the wages. I'm now so busy that I genuinely don't know how I managed to find time for work. S'pose its wot you get used to. I do like my retirement betterer than wurk.I'm ready for retirement, what's it like?
Come on everyone, there is only about 5 of us on here that are under state retirement age
Yer, its a cross between the Beano and crumbly corner.Come on everyone, there is only about 5 of us on here that are under state retirement age
Me too, I had a load of personal stuff to do back in 2015. Was meant to get it done and go back to work (was working freelance so it was do-able). So I was self unemployed for a bit then one thing lead to another and I just never got round to going back. Still a few months away from state pension age cos they keep upping the limit . When I realised I wasn't gonna / didn't wanna work again I started to find a few unexpected bonuses - like car insurance premiums dropped like a stone. Hair cuts are cheaper. We are not officially OAPs, yet we have managed to get rid of the stuff that got in the way of retirement
