... that the new worktops are on.
It has been a very long day, but the end result is pleasing to look at.
Waiting for the silicone to dry under the sink, and first topcoat of danish oil applied. :)
Herself really likes it, so It is a success.

Very nice. I loved oil finishes when I was in the trade. I always wet sanded each successive coat, usually to 600 grit. So beautiful and so easy to repair.

Drove to Dundee to work on a boat, left at 07.20 got there at 10.30 got some fibre glassing done until 12.30 went for a coffee
& a toasty. Came back to the boat & the docks elf n safety booted us off the boat cause the gang way wasnt safe.....

We never set it up but it was 4 pallets of timber about 5m long with the gangway ratchet strapped on so was quite safe
but they want scaffold up with proper hand rails 🤣 🤣 I felt like saying have you been in our yard :oops:🤣🤣
Just to keep your guys safe yer mate, cheers if they'd came an hour later id have all the fibreglassing done.
Now the boat is left like a tip with our stuff scattered all over it & buckets of resin left open & acetone oh well
I had to sneak back on James bond style & switch off all the heaters n cut the power then buggered off. 🤣

Morning all. Made the mistake of looking at Faecesbook this morning to find someone moaning and dribbling about the church bells. I’m a complete atheist but a great supporter of this wonderful sound. I may have been a trifle cruel in my reply but hey, the idiot deserved it.
