Just finished the rough draft of a legal document to allow us to lend a part of our land to a neighbour wiv an 'orse he'd like to put on it.
Haven't drafted a legal document for quite a while now and never one in French! Emailed it to said neighbour a moment ago, we will see.
Apart from that the weather has been lovely: warm, dry but not too hot, so I was able to get the big machine out and allow it to do its stuff on the "grass". It is SO much easier after I got the deck locking mechanism to work properly, before that I also freed up the door locking mech on the French window we use the most, which had become a real pain. Again you only realise how bad it has got when you fix it! Sleep well all!:):):)

Didn't someone warn that allowing grazing rights conferred all sorts of "rights" along with it, which might be a problem?

This is precisely why you have to be exceedingly careful. If you use a thing called a "pret d'usage" it makes it very clear that the loan is just that, a loan. It cannot be passed on or held on to when the land is sold. Or when the owner dies. Don't worry, I have gone into it deeply enough to be aware of the risks that have to be avoided.
But it is a relatively common thing so not impossible to find out about. ;)
But it sure as poop is not something that a person who doesn't read French well should be doing on their own.

The problem with knuckles, or any joint, is that they get proportionally less blood flow than other parts for obvious reasons, so things can take longer to heal. (according the "ma the doc".)

My mate took a wee chunk out his knuckle with grinder today twas with a 4" 40 grit flap disc, he stuck his hand though the
exhaust hole in the bottom of the boat (covered in fibreglass dust lol) n shouted is it bad....He had 3 pairs of laytex gloves &
pair of thin work gloves all bust I blew all the dust off & said its not to the bone....Ah ok then pulled his had in & started grinding
again. 🀣🀣
