Quite nice really, trouble is its half full of water cause it was sunk, owner left it for years with a dodgy cover and it filled with water. Got a seized Ford crossflow engine
Be a lot lighter when the water's out
Been a lovely day still 17deg outside had my first cider of the year good to be alive ☺☺
I had one like that; a top of the line Toshiba. I found a place that did a fixed-price "no-fix/no-fee" repair service and they fixed it in 1 week. The technician that worked on it said it took him about 30 minutes to isolate and to fix the problem.Switched tele on today and all is well, been on a couple of hours now so fingers crossed
Good for you...that I saw my brother in law today for the first time in months (the really great BIL that is an MOT tester and sorts all our cars out, not the little shyster BIL that is always in his Mother's purse). For a 77 year old he looked remarkably fresh-faced and really healthy.
I offered him a drink (as we always do) and to my surprise he said "No thanks, I have given up alcohol, I just decided that like smoking it is something I don't want to do any more". Now I have to say that he looks very well.
Which brings me to me.
I told y'all that my last cholesterol blood test went awry because my Triglycerides were too high (4.7) and that meant they could not get a measure of LDL/HDL. But as the total cholesterol was 8.5 overall we can conclude that at worst the HDL was 0 (unlikely) and the LDL was 3.8 (also unlikely). So what pushes your TG up so high? I know the answer.... Alcohol.
So as I can't go on like that I have undertake a change of my M.O. Mon-Thurs is alcohol free and drinking is only Friday Night till Monday; and I have cut back on the volume on these days too. I did this last week without any cheating and I am doing it this week too (and hopefully from hereon in).
What I have discovered ( after speaking to my eldest son) is alcohol-free Gin. 0% alcohol and just the gin flavours, which is quite refreshing with tonic. What I have also found is that after 4 straight "clean & sober" days the Alcohol days are just not as appealing and the urge to gorge on booze is greatly diminished. I can't see me taking the pledge, but there's hope for this old dog yet!
