...a ride was ridden.

Thankfully the majority of the public were still a-bed so I encountered minimal traffic.

Not a long ride, just 16 miles, but the Sun was shining, birds were singing and the wind was cool on my face.

I am trying to see how best to manage the battery assist for miles rather than speed.
1 & 3/4 hour ride and 16 miles = 9MPH average and the battery pack was showing 3/4 full when I anchored up at home again.
Lift-off is the night of the 1st of July. Holland, brace yourself.

This morning I collected me tratter from it's storage location (in storage while I was away on the sunny isle last week). Started on half a turn of the engine. The fuel level was dangerously low, so the ten litre jerry can of diesel I keep in the back came in handy before I set off. Nice drive home on country roads, windows down, wireless on. Soul washed again. And accidentally set off the back up alarm when I got home - nice to know it still works

. Oil service message came up too, so I guess I'll do it this week. Or at least get the oil ordered.

Afternoon, busy wee morning, time to be a bit lazy.
Still tender @Dippypud? Should ask the insurance to see if he was on his mobile whilst he wasn't making the turn correctly.

Still very tender and the muscle groups know they are a bit compromised and the courtesy car is so much electric this and that ...

....that I am hopping mad.

My Gas canister did not reappear today.
Despite our discussing its immediate return and him getting his sorry ar$e over to the refill shop this morning he has instead just blanked me all day and now tells me "Sorry, we didn't get another canister refill and I am cooking my kids a steak bbq dinner this afternoon; will bring it back after that.
Now, to be truthful it won't really matter as I will be BBQ ing at 5:30/6:00 BUT!.... we had an agreement whereby I did him a really big favour and he would meet the terms we agreed.
To be ignored and used like this just makes me see red.
I have said to him, bring it back and then forget EVER borrowing anything of mine ever again.

Finished 1 wall unit, had to take it back off the wall to fit the side panels, cornice & pelmet. Getting it back on with the
extra weight well there was a few carefully chosen words.

I do wonder why people never bring stuff back, I had a mate the other day desperate for a trailer board I was very reluctant
but its in my nature to be kind. Yer yer I'll bring it straight back now that was 4 days ago.

The same lad a while ago went away to work for a week & left my diagnostics on his back seat n his car which was left opened
round at the garage site with god knows who prowling about.

Unused... because it was a "just in case" for 2 meals at his place, but his own canister never ran out.
Have told him not to ask for stuff again because "Foxtrot-Oscar" often offends.

Pot is legal thear have a few puffs should give you more miles per hours

He's been at it about six months, total strip down of a Landy that hadn't been used for decades, ex Mersey Tunnel then a breakdown truck for an old guy in Wales, I met him last weekend and had a long chat, he showed me some photos of the wrecks he dragged in over the years, He's soooo happy the Landy is being restored
