Steerer tube from a bike and a little bit of welding?Afternoon
Looking for inspiration
Need something like this only a lot smaller, and with L bracket rather than straight across.
Either that or a 5 or 6 inch diameter flat wheel with bearing I could bolt horizontal to chassis
It's to convert sideways to fore and aft on my steering, any ideas on what I could use/convert to make this happen please ?
This is something from a bike building plan. All the bits are standard bits salvaged from bikes in mild-steel and some welding.

Not sure whether outside would be better static with inside turning so I could weld the outer to the chassis at front, that would work at steering rack position if a little low, maybe sit it on top of chassis

Both swivel points fitted, just hope 3mm plate will be strong enough for the steeringGOT IT

That I have been flea-combing the cat and have killed 4 fleas so far.
Gosh they move quite fast. Just imagine the time when most humans had fleas too. Yuk!
The biggest factor in the decline of fleas in our homes was the introduction of the vacuum-cleaner.
