Only up to a certain date witch I can not remember after that Artex was no good joints would crack dried to fast and had no body and difficult to get a good Finnish . So not all Artex has asbestos in it must be tested but after about 3yrs nobody wanted it
The house in question we (my ex and I) bought in 1988 so it'd have had it, probably. The house we live in now, built in 1984 (the wife thinks as she bought it brand new with her ex but can't be sure what year) has it on all ceilings.
Typically we won't know as according to this, it was around this time they stopped using asbestos. And the testing is very hit and miss.

Call me thick but what's a virtual colonoscopy?

Is it some sort of non-insertive procedure?
She cannot easily take a normal "camera up the backside" one without full anaesthetic, so she has one done by a scan but they still have to use the tyre inflator up the rear. I also had to have it explained to me.
And as I pointed out to her, if they find polyps they cannot immediately do anything. But as she has never had any of those, we don't know what they are looking for but suspect her diverticules may be giving her trouble. Or it may be nothing to worry about.
We'll know soon enough.

Keep it well painted
