My little cat died of kidney failure this morning ...
She spent the night asleep on my sons chest as she hadn't been well and wanted cuddles ...
And it's his birthday today ...
+1^We all get overwhelmed now and then. I hope the feeling passes soon and you are in the pink once more.

She spent the night asleep on my sons chest as she hadn't been well and wanted cuddles ...
And it's his birthday today ...
W now has to monitor her blood pressure. But at least the doc seems efficient and capable.
The locum in her last practice was supposed to have sent her a referral to a ENT specialist but of course she never received it. Supposed to have been sent in March. She'll be paying the dosh to get an appt via private as the waiting list is over a year.
She needs a cap on a tooth so is paying the dosh to get a white one.
My eyes are too dry, I don't produce enough tears, but at least the cataract isn't growing too fast.
The best moment of the day was at the viewing where I looked inside a chest of drawers to find an old letter in its envelope.
It was interesting, obvs written by an RAF officer during the war. We have no idea why it was left there, in an otherwise empty dressing table. Told the peeps who run the place and I think they will be contacting the owner about it.
So a day of medical matters, apart from me hanging the boiler cupboard back up. It looks good but I am hoping I can find enough bits of deco panel to make it look even better.

Had a bit of excitement on the film set (scrap ship covered in bird poo) Filming cut short we they decided to film inside
the co2 fire system room (full of full co2 bottles) they were in there n fractured one of the pipes & gas was coming out, as it
was in the main cargo hold everyone got booted out & to we had to crane all there gear off
One daft git was persistent says he had equipment inside the room, wanting inside to get it. No mate sorry its not safe
kept on & on so after a couple of mins I told him to pizz off an get off the ship. Then he came back & put his gear down
by the door probably waiting me turning my back so he could go in. Silly chap tbh, I lifted his gear & chucked into the
crane basket & shouted on the radio for my mate to lift it out haha he soon got off the boat.
Cant wait to see what he's left for me

I seem to have discovered the "secret of fire".
I was wasting lots of wood last year in the log-burner I think.
This year I am loading it differently and I am getting a higher temperature, and for a lot longer duration.
I think this can only be good TBH.

I did say to the producer that he should have filmed the evacuation, that would have made great tv haha He did agree & laughed.
The other bloke was a numpty tbh, most of them were really nice n chatty.

Id go back with a wad of cash n my pocket still in workwear on, tell him you need to kit out yer new house so need all new
stuff & pick out all the top of range gear. Then ask for the manager & say that wee shrimp just lost you the sale of the year & show him the cash n walk out.
