Appi Sundi evvybuddy.

Last nights Chinese was delish but jeez was the squid salty! Been drinking water all through the night, it really messes up me kip.

We bought us a rowing machine as a nannyversry present (I know, the romance lives on..) Took longer to get the bits out of the damn cardboard/polly styrene/miles of sticky tape than it took to put togeffer!

Wuk this mornin then will prolly gopher a pint.

Have a lovely Day

I've been ensuring my boiler works for the past 30 years. So far without incident. Just as I have maintained my vehicles since about 1972. I don't think making things work is a "mod". Much more like proper maintenance. If I felt the urge to make a mod, I'd stop and get a Corgi in to sort it! ;)

and at the moment it still seems to be OK. ;)
Was only teasing. I do the same. :)

Old engineerin chap i knew passed over an his widow asked me to helps clear the garrij, lots of innerestin bits an this one made me think of you.
You say its rare,wotsit for?
I believe it is how they checked transmitted power from the antenna before fancy electronic gizmo's
I use a device that checks volts per metre square and I feel that will do the same in Imperial measures 👍

Air in the supply? ?
No, I've been doing this long enough to have eliminated this. I turn it off at the boiler and then at the meter. When turning it back on I turn it on at the meter then leave it ages for the pressure to build up before turning it on at the boiler. The pilot lit OK it just din't stay alight. But I got it right yesterday as it has stayed on overnight. For the first time since I got back. Think the old thermocouple was prolly OK. Just needed a tad more gas to the pilot and a clean up.
