..I got a lovely text from the daughter of the old fella at the bottom of the garden's thanking me for keeping her updated and saying she will try and rein him in a bit. I replied that we know he is a lovely old gent and is not "quite right" at the moment and we are all in this together to try and make sure he comes to no harm, nor that he does any harm to us either.

Thats nice. :)

Did you mean to give them steak or did someone have sticky paws 🤣
One of my dogs has a very dodgy digestion system and the only thing that goes down without leaving me with a dirty mess to clear up and a very dirty dog to wash is steak! Having very long hair does not help with this problem. Fortunately he does not eat a lot of food but what does go in has to be quality. The other is happy with cooked chicken thighs.

Bloody hell chicken thighs! Steak!...ours get dry dog food, pasta, left over rice and cheap Lidl canned meat and scraps from trimming up meat for us...the only time we had a problem was they changed the formula for the dry and the chew treats we give them easily sorted...

#earthovershootday came earlier this year. Tis the figure of how quick we use the natural resources that takes a year to create. Then it comes early it means we is using up resouces faster than they is made. :(

"Earth Overshoot Day is computed by dividing the planet’s biocapacity (the amount of ecological resources Earth is able to generate that year), by humanity’s Ecological Footprint (humanity’s demand for that year), and multiplying by 365, the number of days in a year."
