Afternoon folks :).

Well I have somehow seemed to have managed to do the square root of a big fat 0 today, well that's the way it feels;).

We had a huge downpour yesterday around this time, and we are getting another right now with him upstairs rattling his pans, He hasn't started working on the electrics yet as that usually ends in sparks:oops:. Seems more like May than June, (note to self must check the date:oops: just incase).

Cut the grass other day and the bloody weeds are already growing again, Why???? oh well they will get their eds chopped again soon.

Must go hunt out that bucket that has the enthusiasm in:).

... on our way back from shopping today we found ourselves behind a moron person who was driving at <20 in a thirty limit while weaving all over the road. "Never mind" I thought, I'm turning off at the next junction to take the food up to the MIL.

What did they do? They turned up the same street ahead of me and then stopped in the middle of the road straddling the white line. Not clear of the junction and pulled into the side at the kerb, oh-no! Just smack dab in the middle of the road.

A young black lady holding a mobile phone (Sat-Nav App running?) totally oblivious to anything other than herself and waving the thing around like it would suddenly unfreeze her dull wits or point out her route and destination in a big blue stripe on the road like it showed on her phone application maybe?

After about 10 seconds of being stationary she suddenly became aware of my Rangie waiting behind her and corrected her road position and parked up to consult her phone further.

The mind boggles. How do these idiots pass a driving test?

... that the wife reports that someone has "harvested" the large and many "swollen seed-pod" covered "Poppy" from our front garden.
Taken the lot, pulled the plant out and buggered off with it. Ruddy cheek!
Unless the seed heads were fully ripe then the under-developed seeds inside them will be absolutely useless. Somone has made a thief of themselves for no gain.

Well, they may not have been thinking about growing the seeds. When I was young I remember some of my acquaintances stealing poppies out of other people's gardens for 'recreational' use.

That while there are many threads on LZ about Dashcams they are a bit old/contradictory/out of date.
What I want to know is what's a good Front/Rear dashcam that can be easily removed from sight/view when you leave the car and are no longer a temptation to thieves? (i.e. you can bung it in the glove-box).

Are dashcams that replace your rear view mirror any good?

Any advice from anyone?
Nextbase have taken over the spot light from roadhawk as being the favourite. Roadhawk have closed. Nextbase have a number of different models. Also a remote camera to go in the rear window as well as a camera that plugs into the windscreen one, which looks backwards. I have the 622 version which is highest spec to date. Different options to suit budget. Sticky pad or suction cup mount in the front screen. Lose wire to fag socket or hardwire kit available to power. Not sure if all of them have a screen. Mine does. Handy to have. Yer can buy em from argos. If buying a memory card for one only buy high spec from the likes of a oropper shop like pcworld. Check bit rate demand in advance. Far too many reject memory cards sold as pukka which just die or dun't meet the bit rate requirement for continuous recording.
