G'day all.
W driving me round the bend somewhat as she wants to watch the Coronation.
Ok, so she asked me what to do about watching it on our monitor on which we play DVDs and the Humax box, (we don't get ornery TV) so after a lot of flipping around working out what sort of socket she has on her iPad we managed to fin it out and ordered an adaptor to HDMI.
Paid extra to get it delivered quicker. ( why couldn't she have done this 2 weeks ago? Or even last week?)
Now she is mucking about getting something so she can actooly watch it on her iPad.
The cart is two miles down the road and the horse is munching on oats in its stable.
Other than that it has rained overnight, as was expected and we are doing very little today.
At least yesterday's rest helped my back put itself right after last week's exertions.;)
Hope you are all enjoying your days off!

How many miles does yer walk inner week? Eye probably do 1 mile a day when at wuk, which is 1632 meters. Not many at the weekend. So 6 miles in total each week.
My watch has a "step count" function (probably wildly inaccurate) but it suggests an average of 4 Miles a day (without any effort to exercise). But today I did 2 miles on the treadmill as well anyway because I need to.

Me-n-'er are doing our very best to diet and lose some lard weight as we are both far too porkulent at present.
So no spuds of any kind, no bread, no crackers with the cheese, no crisps and a drastic reduction in our alcohol intake.
She's a type 2 diabetic and is sick from the meds, and I'm just a fat bastid who drinks far too much.
I hope we can stick to the plan. Sunday is our "treat yourself" day when a roast potato and a dessert will be allowed.
I am looking to lose at least 3 stone (preferably 4) and at our age (approaching 69) with slow old metabolism's its a big ask I think.
But the health benefits make the attempt well worth it I think.
Wish me luck! :D

As she has finally decided on a VPN and tried to get it working I think we have a problem with the speed of our internet. download less than 4 Mbps. Seems pretty carp to me, wot do others think?
Last i heard she still hadn't got the "app" or whatever it is downloaded.
Test it. Eye use the speed test app on me fone.

I do wish you luck, both of you.
I'm also on a diet, a perpetual one, and TBH it is only excercise that helps me.
Crossed fingers it works.
