Funnily the first litre seemed to taste not too bad. By the end of the second litre I was sick of it.
Still all gone now, in both senses.
I do know that my biggest one gets heavier every year, especially as I always have to use it outside on gravel so have to manhandle it around.
They changed a lot over the years. The later ones looked very normal for the period, until you lifted the bonnet.@Stanleysteamer - just seen a Stanley Steamer on Junk and Disorderly. Now I know wot one is
1921 model. the year my dad was born.
The Haynes museum have one, or one very like it.
I know my great grandfather had one but I have never seen a picture of it, sadly.
