Drove home ok then started it again and it put up a warning of restricted performance. No error codes but me dpf is full at 22.3. Took it ferra drive to empty but it din't start the process. Normally this would empty it. Temp, speed and distance was ok. It would normally empty during nornal driving so yer wouldn't fill it up. Max 2500 revs and struggling. Could get to 60mph burrit was as slow to gain speed as a tratter. Bort him some premium fool on the way back. Gorrit back to castle hippo. Error codes had been created on me trip oot:

P259E-73 turbo A boost control position at low limit, mechanical fail, actuator is stuck closed.
P0047-11 turbo boost control solinoid, circuit low, general lectric fail, circuit short to ground.
P0046-19 turbo boost control solinoid, circuit range/performance, general lectric fail, circuit current above threshold.

Had a look round the top of the engine and the big pipes down the side eye can see and reach at the bottom. Going to get the under tray oft morra and look fer damaged pipes and lectric connections. If no problems found it could be his turbo faffed.

Was guessing it was a lack of air problem so took the air filter oot and still the same. When yer take yer foot oft the revs at 2000 yer hear whap whap whap assit slows down.

Edgar's mortified.
Oh dear.:(
I know nothing a bout hippos so the best of luck sorting it out.;)

My friend in the North snagged me a working Sturmey Archer XRF8-W hub at a cycle-jumble. :)
It was missing a few bits (changer, axle anti-turn lock-washers, dome nuts and needed a different sprocket), but its was otherwise in great condition. Thanks Paul!
Here it is cabled up and working. It may become the IGH for the current project. :D
