Yer may fink having a trusty Freelander best ever 4x4 int whirl everer is a good fing when there be a warning ov snow. Burrut has its down sides. Yer cant ring in ter wuk and tell em yer snowed in and stuck. Cos they wont believe yer. You's tratterers are lucky. Yer can ring in and say there be an inch ov ice on the inside ov the windscreen and yer can't chip it oft. Everyone knows they dunt av heaters so yer stuffed.

Largely accurate. Yes, I did have to de-ice both sides of the windscreen this morning (and I don't mean left and right) and yes I was togged up like nanook.
Yet here I am, with my feets defrosting on the company radiator :p

Had all me timber delivered yesterday, for my noo garage roof. Got to go in me loft today to get some more timber out of storage (put some spare joist timbers in there a few years back and they have been in there ever since waiting for a worthy job). Then order the roof membrane and stuff for fixing it in place. And wait for the weather to improve so I can get on with the job. The old roof is past its best after sixty plus years of use.

Not necessarily so. Using the Gradian system of measuring angles, invented by (I believe) the frogs, there are 400 degrees in a circle. Which makes calculating balance factors straight forward for a 5-pot. This geometry and trigonometry is used more in yurrup than in the uk, hence they have developed many 5-pot engines (and multiples of 5).
Silly beggars!
So we can blame them then.
I remember a lab tech at my senior school had an audi saloon with a 5 cylinder engine. Back then the advert was ""as economical as a 4, as powerful as a 6"
All BS as usual.
How many duifferent ways can one measure the angles in a circel?
I suppose as many as you choose.
Isn't that what radians are after all, just another way? Based on pi and the angle subtended on an arc equal to the length of the radius?
Hence 2 pi =360 degs?
(Jeez I need a lie-down now!)
Dividing it by a number which is a multiple of 12 is a good idea cos it can be divided easily by both 2 and 3,
360 divided by 5 is 72, so no need for any flipping gradians, radians, schmadians or any such nonsense.

However I bow to your superior engineering knowledge and wonder how they calcualte balance factors.
I must awa and do some tile cutting.;)

To get the ice off the INSIDE of W' Pluriel this a.m. I had to pour lukewarm water over the outside of it.
Fliipping thing is as wet inside as a tratter!:(
