Today I has re-organised my garage a bit. Just ordered a load of timber to re-roof the garage and needed space to store until the weather improves and I can get started. Got the hardware earlier this week (joist hangers, wall bolts n stuff). Now need to get the membrane and gloo ordered - will do that next week as my plastic squander card is feeling a bit sore at the mo.

Morning All. :D
Not been out yet as wifey is going to the bakers and I was excused paper fetching duties. :)
Cat was ill in the night, puked up a fur-ball. :(
Neck has been sore for a week now, since last chiro appointment where he declared "you are messed up". Next appointment tomorrow.
Have a good day. :D
Oh dear, we have been reading about your neck for a while now, do hope you eventually get it sorted out.:(:(:(

Not very happy! (Can't swear on here burt I'd like to!)
Have spent most of yessdi artenoon and this day from 11 0'clock until now trying to fix our visa applications. They have a new and pointless system where you are supposed to fill in a form each on the France-visas. gouve.fr site which, once done tells you you cannot click on "send" util you have an appointment, which you supposed to make through TLScontactcentre.
We had problems with these idiots last year, couldn't do it online so rang up and eventually got one.
This time we have been trying all this time. you now have to fill in yet more application forms with exactly the same info on them, and we cannot cklick on the final box, "visa type". We want long stay 3 to 6 month visas, you can obviously only have one a year but you are allowed to apply for them up to 3 months before you go, which is what we are trying to do. But the box just comes up with a psurious warning saying you can't.
The bods on the end of the phone say "Oh it is a computer glitch, clear your browser history, updat to the latest Chrome or use aniother machine".
We have done all of this so last time I spoke to someone i finally managed to get him to agree that we are allowed to apply but he can't do anything about it so he'll talk to someone and get back to us.
that was 45 minutes ago and of course the office is now closed.

How to waste one's blasted time!

Oh and yep it's raining here on and off, mostly on.:(:(:(

It would be wonderful if masses of people descended on Westm[o]inster and the MP's and just them know how we feel about the job they are doing and what we think of them.
Something a little....

Afternoon folks:).

We went into big town yesterday, Big shop and visit to the opticians. Glad to say that the old eyes haven't changed much in about alot of years;). But my the price of glasses have gone up:eek:.
When I go back and pick them up I will probably get them to put some cheap basic lenses in my old frames to use when I am working;).
These new lenses will darken whilst driving too, but only to about 15% which will be nice, I think;).

Was raining when we got home yesterday so the sticks were lit, Has been raining on and off today so the sticks are burning again.

Stay warm and dry folks I here some of the UK is very wet:eek:.
