I don't think so, it is a copper ampoule that sits in a pocket inside the casting of the boiler with a capillary link out to the "trip", not actually having any circulating water in it.This wireless 1 has nothing to do with controlling the heat/boiler?
You need to open another TRV or fit a bypass so the boiler can move water and switch off before it trips. Maybe your 30yr old boiler stat is calciumed/crudded up and needs changing

Has only gone wrong since I made all the changes, been perfectly ok until now.
I have opened some radiator TRV's up a bit more. Strangely, this afternoon the system has automatically started up and NO TRIP. Rads went hot, TRV's did their thing and still NO TRIP.
We may be getting to a balancing point maybe.

I think the "getting old" thing is applicable to lots of peeps.This is why we bought a tiny bungalow with no garden to speak of. I am so glad we did given my personal circumstances but I was always going to get old
Our place has .6 of a hectare. When we bought it in 2004 I was 49 and W was 57 and a lot less infirm. Looking after that much land didn't seem a problem. Now it is and we have fenced a lot of it off. A bit we never used in any case. It seems mad but we didn't want near neighbours.

Eye has bin ter wix for me sand. 3 bags ov builderer sand. Hadda look at the leaf grabbers then went to omebase. Their leaf grabbers is biggerer but more eggspensive. Eye gorrum. Eye also remembered eye want some more clothes pegs. Sainsberrys seem to av stopped doing the same ones eye gottid before. Homebase as them but they is all grey. Eye then took ma hippo ferra drive to empty his dpf assit were on 23.7 which is near full. Not been ferra run ferra while so oft we went. Dun't need to do it as it will partual burn oft going to and from wuk but yer cant beat going ferra drive int sytle ter cheer yerself up.

Was dark when eye gottid back from choppin and driving. Dint pick up any leafs. Eye has signed up ferra tesco club card. Yep eye knpws eye has always binner sainsberrys hippo but if they int gottid somefink eye need then tesco may avvit. If there be a discount eye can now gerrit.
