So...........
I must be firing on all 12 cylinders......
not only are both our motors now working but I went to "test" my genny that hasn't run for 5 years (or more) and once I remembered which levers to put where etc.
It fired up and ran lovely!
So that's going back to blighty. 2.5 Kw genny, should get us out of any holes provided by all this cr@p that is going on.
(shh, don't tell anyone my secret.........never leave any petrol in anything you ain't gonna touch for a while!!!)
Apart from that, cut all the grass/weeds in one day which is pretty amazing but then not, as so much is dust due to the drought conditions. Will be cutting some logs soon ready for the log burner next year when we come back then all spare petrol can go in W's car. Big machine will go to neebs for the duration, keys to poly tunnel etc to neebs and other neebs so they can finish off the veg. Blokey who usually takes our hens has got back to us happy to do it again. (He hasn't seen us for 2 years, due to Covid etc.)
We are getting there.
Also arranging to maybe stay with other friends in Cherbourg next time we come back, they are fun but parking up the trailer was a problem until we thought of leaving it at the holiday place their daughter has bought nearby. Just need to measure everything up.
Seriously, where would we all be without really decent friends and neighbours?
Sleep tight folks!
