Tis Friday & that feeling of all things going wrong has appeared.not loaded and ran out of traffic cone space.
Why can’t we just move the cones & continue was my question…. Nope we are not trained & the idiot has gone tor dinner

Afternoon folks:).

2 days and 2 MOTs with flying colours:D.
3 trailers to do this year so that's next week, but not at the new place as the big 1s just wouldn't get out the back. The new place does bikes:D, so will be dressing in some leather next week;) and taking the Duc in, Its nice to have a new place that does bikes close now as before it was a 100mile round trip.
The guy wanted to buy the fender said it was solid:), wonder if he will offer to buy the beast when that rolls in aswell next week.

We have got a second hot spell. Still in the mid 30s now. We were discussing shutting the pool, But that is now on hold as we are now on "water regime"
Which basically means the tourist's can shower because us in the hills have been cut off:mad:. We have builders at friends house so they need water for the render, so Pool water, loads of plastic bottles, Quad and trailer sorts that out:D.
Remember Me talking about digging a well? Well we are thinking about it again;).

Apart from that living the dream:D Roast chic tonight:).

It will be guesswork.
But;).
When the pit was dug in the garage (highest point of our land) water started coming in at 6ft.
We have an old broken water feed in the basement, from the old "T" in the older school nextdoor it has a bung in it cos water comes up it in the good times into the basement;).
When they dug out for the pool water was coming in where they dug out the pump room.
So, we figure its there just how deep now as all those diggings were done in the good days:).

....that I have fixed Wifey's car!!!!!:):):):):)
Whooooooooppppeeeeeeee!
Twas either the coil pack or a plug or two.
I measured the resistance of the plugs and they all seemed OK, so I am leaning in favour of it being the coil pack.
So nice to hear it rev up sweet as a nut.:):)
Then used my Foxwell to switch the MIL off!
Anyway W is quite pleased.;)
Still can't get over being able to fix anything that needs a diagnostic to tell me what it is. I feel like a person from a 3rd world country looking at television for the first time.
Although this one was far more like old skool mechanicking than the O2 sensor I fixed over here two years ago.;)
Also got rid of all the ivy that grows where we don't want it while leaving it where we do.:)
And went down the road cutting back the tree branches that rub on "our" telephone wire. even the one that comes from the new neighbour's land, as they weren't there this a.m. hee hee hee!!!:D:D:D
But the signal still ain't very good so I got Orange to check and they agree, well their automatic line testing fing on the website agrees. They asked my advice? So I told them to get someone to cut the trees back.;)
Enjoy the rest of the day folks!:):):)

We have underground springs (well I suppose most springs are underground) all over the place. The most annoying one being in the corner of the parking area out front.
We have one neighbour not connected to the mains water at all, he uses his spring for everything except drinking and cooking for which he buys bottled water.
When they dug the hole for our pool they found 5 springs which floated the pool 1 metre away. So they decided to reposition it, which left us with quite a bit more groundwork to do!
So I'd imagine you'd find it all year round provided you dug deep enough.
I'd deffo go for it!!!:):):)

When we got a company to dig us a bore hole ( in the Welsh border area ) a chap came complete with ........ yes, you've guessed, divine-ing rods!! We just couldn't believe it but it did work and was very accurate. He walked about the fields ( we had 10 acres then) and then came back to his starting point saying that that was the best and most ideal place to do it as it was reasonably close to house so wouldn't need much pipe work to connect it. We kept our fingers crossed that the rest of the work was going to be a bit more high-tec. :)

I have never tried it, but my ex son-in-law the builder does it all the time. He uses tie rods bent into a right angle he uses it to find hidden water pipes as well as springs etc.
I think we could all still do it if we were still cavemen and women!!
