Yer could charge yer Tezla off that anorl ;)

Yea it could run a toaster;). But it charged the battery off the mains, to be used when there was no mains:eek:.

Our bank of batteries is 15.5kw (fink) and on a good day we could probably charge a bigger bank, not sure we would fill a Tezla, arent they around 45kw. besides that we drive Land Rovers usually during the day;) why on earth would I want to charge somebodies Tezla and not have any trickery for our ouse:p:D:D.

Very nice what have you gone for?
I got the van five months ago - an Auto-Sleeper, Bourton model - but have had an E&P self Leveller fitted on it as I am now not able to use manual ramps to drive up on as I no longer have that second 'set of guiding eyes' to see when to stop!! I have been waiting sixteen weeks for the Levellers! :)

We have solid fuel with a 240v pump which will do all the rads much easier except the pump is under
the tiled floor, now I do wonder where its power source is. I must look.
Have to admit i don't know exactly where mine is either BUT the pump is in the airing / hot water tank cupboard so i could just disconnect the wire and rig another to the genny with a switch of some sort. Or a socket on the wall. etc etc. lots of ways to skin this cat.;)
But yep, under a tiled floor is a pain. You'd have to go back to the thing that "commands it" with a multimeter I suppose to see which wire(s) it is.
Humph!:(

If it's worth the wait it's all good. I looked at a camper then have stupidly fallen in love with a man kat 1 conversion

We ran a little UPS with a charger/converter and a 12v battery for ours for ages before we got the solar. It would run a couple of pumps for about 6-8hrs. It was to cover the overnight periods. Worked ok.

That's an idea. I have batts, I have a 12v dc to 240 ac converter, meant to be used in the car, dunno if it would work and it in the UK so I can't look at the specs. How many Wattys does a CH pump need then?
Actooly i might be able to cos our hot water here uses one.
