Cloudy bright and 19 degrees, lovely weather for getting a bit of gardening done....... but I have a pot of tea to finish first and I also have to make a decision on my car, sell or keep ?
Saw a programme last night on the price of cars which made me think that I may not be able to afford anything newer so may have to keep the 27 year old ZX

If it still runs ok and passes an MOT, you may as well keep it.

Just passed mot with no advisories
Needs a radiator and a few dents sorting out.
I was deciding what car to go for and it's looking like the zx estate suits my needs, could do with power steering though and it shouldn't be used as a daily driver just chucking wood in the back etc as it's too good to abuse.

well as you can tell I am up.
In fact went to collect the pressed apple juice.
Turns out the guy's pallet mover/scales had had a hiccup and in fact we presented with quite a lot more pommes than we at first thought. In fact 26 kilos more.
So ended up with 90 litres for €83, includes pressing, pasteurisation and the addition of the 18 bottles we couldn't give him.
Very happy with that!
Still got to unload them.
W has a gippy tummy again.:(
Have a good day all, and oh yes, it ain't raining, yet again.;)

I pick up off cuts from a mate for a friends wood burner, almost on bump stops but not quite, just like three very large people in the back really, it's a good size estate with the seats down :)
Yur!
We used our ZX like a workhorse, oops no, I lie it was a Xsara but much the same just a later model.
Did yours have the rear wheel steering? A mate of mine got one when we had to choose between the ZX and the Renault 19 and we went for the 19. They had both just come out, more or less, and his had rear wheel steering, which I have to confess I felt was just another thing to go wrong!:):)
And we loaded ours up with wine every time we came back off hols! Seats down and fill er up!:):):)
