Just changed our ferry booking to accommodate the noo trailer wiv W's car onnit.
£50 only!!!!!!!:):):):):):)
Thinking about the reduced tickets on the ferry, the reduced amount of fuel we'll use driving down there and back, and the reduced Autoroute tolls, it looks like it'll be a good thing to keep doing. :)
Obvs the disco will use a bit more fool, but not much but the Pluriel won't use any at all!:)
Off to get the tracking redone today.
Still kicking myself about the slight cracks in the rear tyres. Came across my bottle of tyre dressing the other day. why the feck hadn't I put it on!:mad::mad:
Thinking I used the vehicle a lot and didn't park it in direct sunlight, I thort it'd be OK.
Huh!:rolleyes::(

Insurance on the Disco, with SAGA has dropped a mile!:):)
Can fix the premiums for the next three years but paying a little more, £25 so done that.:):)
Result I think as this drop may be just down to Covid.;)
We'll see.
As the steering wheel is no longer centralised, but at about 10 o'clock - 4 o'clock, I thought I'd just adjust it on the drag link. But Haynes sez "No".:( "more than 5 degs and you should take the steering wheel off." :(
With all the airbag nonsense I will not be doing that, I'll take the ball joint off where it joins the hub and rotate it a couple/3 times. When I did the job I measured it up pretty accurately compared to the one I took off but just couldn't get it to fit back in the 'oles. I'd locked the steering wheel in the central position, like you're supposed to. So I unwound the ball joint 3 times to make it fit.
Realise now this was a mistake and I should have unlocked the steering wheel.:( Numpty!
And it is supposed to rain for the next few days!
Hey ho!
Fink I'll put the mended radio back in.
W is off sewing. ;)
Have a good day folks!!:):):)

Was in Aldi today and they had 1/2" square drive Torque wrenches for sale.
30 - 120NM range and 17/19/21mm sockets for £19.99

Not stunning, but it might be useful. ;)
Shame they don't do imperial!
I could do with another one to take the wheel nuts off as the metric one is often a tight fit due to rust under the covers on 'em. And I have already changed the dodgy ones and have a few spares. ;)

Good to see the news item on Britain re-opening and expanding North Sea Gas recovery & storage and creation of multiple SMR nuclear sites to avoid being an "energy hostage".
Pity they have been asleep at the wheel because people have been telling them for ages that reliance on non-domestic energy was a trap. ;)

It might be a scam. Is it actually from ebay?

From looking on the web it can take up to 4 days to receive the money under the new system of managed payments. Its guaranteed to arrive. The bank transfer is the cause of the delay. Further sales are said to be quicker.

Got the payment today, the new system is pants they were asking me to send the item aye right
its going no where until ive been paid.

I got stuck in this last week when I sold a lock 'n level. It was snapped up with an offer higher than I would have expected BUT the payment through Paypal is a real pain. They will not pay you until they have proof that the item has been delivered to the buyer and then it does take a day or two more for the money to hit your account - so if you are expecting a quick payour hard luck but if you as a buyer are looking for greater security then it is there.

I sold a trailer & the lad was getting shiply to collect it tomorrow to go doon soof, since I had no
payment I told him it wasnt going anywhere until the funds were in my bank. He wasnt happy
as he sent it right away so now its going on Thursday & ive been paid. :):)
