She looks lovely, as always.:):):):)

many thks , she’s such an adorable best friend , always happy to say hello to anyone who will give her attention , had labs and it must be a good 30 x odd years

first lab I had was one called Jasper , my god for a lab he was huge , sadly haven’t got any pictures of him , when my kids were learning to walk even his wagging tail or nudge would knock them over, he would just look like butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth

but candy bless her is definitely my favourite , always there by my side and so nice in the evening she comes up on the sofa with me for a cuddle

Not gonna trawl back to get quotes.
@kevstar @Stanleysteamer

I have worn belts for a bad back but am not in favour of wearing and still doing the same as (IMO) they can mask you doing more damage. Please be careful:)

J
Couldn't agree more. There is no mileage in wearing one for too long, but I think they help until the damage can be repaired, at least a bit, OR to protect your back when doing an amount of heavy lifting.
I much prefer a mixture of chiropractic and exercises. But if you can't even get out of bed...
You can also make the mistake, as my wife had done and does all the time, of getting hooked on pain killers. She takes massive amounts of morphine sulphate, she has a cage in her back to support failing vertebrae, and amazes me with what she can do, but sadly she is a person who when she gets drunk gets punchy and the drugs have a similar effect on her. The Wifey I once knew has gone and will never return. When she is lucid she knows this, but she can't stop taking the drugs so....:(:(:(:(:(
She has no choice really, without them she would be in a wheelchair in terrible pain. Case of hammer and anvil, or the devil and the deep blue sea.:(:(:(

Think ur like this

so useto go deep see fishing and dreaded one guy joining us, the whole trip was him saying how much he paid for fishing gear, then claimed he would never be sea sick, kept bragging about it , went on and on

so one day my late wife came up with a brilliant idea , she bought a curry , heated it up so it was edible , then put it into a clear plastic bag then a brown bag

Got up that morning and drove to the boat , half way into the fishing could hear him going on yet again he would never be sea sick, so my mate and I moved our fishing gear near him

Left it for around 10-15 mins , then my mate started eating the curry in the brown bag , I then said I feel really sick and grabbed the brown bag ,pretended to be sick in the bag, guy was laughing , so I stopped pretending being sick after a little while, then said well no point wasting it , got the spoon and started to eat the curry which the guy thought it was my sick

the whole trip we didn’t hear a word out of him as he was hanging over the side being sick , magic, lol:D:D
Nice one!!!
:D:D:D:D

Did hear of a famous comic once doing similar but on a plane with a tin of potato salad, in a sick bag, but that may well be an urban myth.
Love the way your Mrs helped out!!!:):):):)

Does she like it cos it Ginger beer? :)
Does she know it’s 4%:p:D

the big question is when will Mrs @Stanleysteamer be trying it instead of all that vino stuff:D:D

J

Edit. He has already got his wicked way with mrs steamer on ginger beer:D:D
She only drinks it in hot weather and even then not often. We have a couple of bots gathering dust in a cupboard in France.
Back in the day, we were so busy having our wicked ways with one another that drinking anything only ever happened a bit after!;)

Most times prefer dogs to humans o_O A few of my mates have labs, lovely companions.:):)

.....well changed the gas struts on the funny little hatch on Wifey's Pluriel.
It wasn't all that dark but I spent a while trying to find a star shaped bit to hold one end of a spigot thingy that holds one end of the strut, until I got my head torch on and realised it was held in place by a spring C clip thing.
Hate those, always a chance of it pinging off into the gravel never to be seen again. :(
Sho nuff, it came off and slid down the channel till it came to rest behind a grommet. But a tiny little bit was visible so I could regain it. Sigh of relief and was able to finish the job that side.
Which made the other side easier as the new one held the hatch up instead of me having to prop it up with my head!
Second one, C clip went AWOL yet again and, luckily, lodged in exactly the equivalent position on that side!;)
So finished it off and went inside.
"Changed the rams on your car, love!" Quoth I.
No reaction, so repeated it, (she was doing accounts at the time, so concentrating) "Oh, thanks" she said, didn't want to come out and see.
I still remember the time when she used to be pleasantly surprised, delighted and amazed at when I fixed things on her cars. Just takes it for granted now.:(
Let virtue be its own reward!;)
Have "Washed" a bit of the utility room ceiling. I have a horrible feeling the ceiling has never been painted before and of course it is Artex. I am a bit concerned I am just moving the dirt to a different place. will look at it tomorrow and if all else fails just ensure it's clean enough to take the paint without it falling off. Can't imagine why I didn't paint it last time I painted the walls:confused:. Have to say it ain't that dirty, the only real cause of dirt is the boiler on the wall and that is very localised. But at the same time we had removed a door to the kitchen and fitted an arch in its place so I guess a bit of grease must have come in from the kitchen. Even though we never closed the door.
So if anyone has a cool way of washing plain Artex could they shout it out?
I'd be enormously grateful.;):):)

Thanks Gary
If you can find it I will lick you for ever:D:D
Pic of numbers attached:) It’s a Toyota Autris (spelling) 2012
It’s about 95% the problem another check tomorrow to confirm :)

J

ur so welcome , lol, well that’s an offer I don’t always get, lmao

so just going to have a search for us to see what I can find

must admit I think the only diode test that I know is setting the multimeter to Vac , engine running , then putting one lead onto the positive battery post and the other on the negative battery post , should get below 0.5 Vdc

will update u if I can find anything for u , will search though all my links

....so. Finally made an appointment with the Cjhiropractic college, for next week.
It is easing up a bit but I need to get on with stuff.
Decided to do "indoor" work today as it was raining, now just gone grey.:(
So cleared a load of wine off the top of a cabinet in the utility room.
Wine we knew had gone off some time ago, so all had to be opened and poured away. :(:(:(
Just eaten some Not Cross Bums. Wifey picked them up when she went to Marks and Sparks and cleared their shelf of gluten free Petits Pains aux Raisins. She said "They've just removed the mince pies and put the H X Buns out instead."
It isn't even February yet.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Sun's just come out!
But I have a bucket of sugar soap mixture awaiting my attention.:(
Enjoy the rest of the day folks!:):):)
Sainsberrys sell em all year round. :)
