Looks like batt's OK then.
So it's looking for key 2, key three has gone missing and you have keys 4 and 5.
Does it just need telling to look for either key 4 or key 5 or either? Maybe it needs to be told to cancel key 2 or summat?
I REELY don't know, feckin electrickery, and I suspect they are all different. But I did suspect it would need some friggin around through diagnostics to make the ffin car recognisse the ffin key.
I know that BMW garages charge a king's ransom per hour, but it might be worth giving em a ring?
I do know you are fast getting into the realms of paying more for this than you paid for the car.:mad::mad:
You need the equivalent of sierrafery on a BMW/MINI forum.
i'm having a look to see if i can find anything that might halep, but I expect you have already done this.
so bear with me as I chuck links at you, some more specific than others.
course I don't know what year the car is or if the MINI Cooper is different in any way when it comes tyo keys than the more ornery MINI

Key 1 I have, keys 2 & 3 are now cancelled. The chip is part of the circuit board I will take a pic tomorrow. The fault is E3ws module low voltage, new ones need coded to the car if I can find
the programmer or the correct machine to do it it will go.(I think) but I aint paying silly money for
them. 2nd hand module on bgay for a tenner.

The Cooper name used the be special, doubt that is the case these days:(.

There was one, fink it was the Cooper S, that had a supercharger and went even faster than the Cooper. (Saw it on wheeler Dealers)
i had two female colleagues who bought new Mini's, one bought the Cooper just for the looks, neither of them drives a car like it should be driven.

So if you still have key 1 and it still ain't working then the fault is with the module in the car and not the key fob, am I right?
If it is still working with key 1 then the missus just needs to be super careful she don't lose it until this is sorted out!
tis late and i may be just not thinking straight..
anyway found this on how to test your E3ws

Yup everything works including cranking just no suck squeeze bang blow..

apparently the ones wiv the supercharger are rare as rocking horse poop, or at least were in Merka.

Ive not looked but I aint seen one locally
Then it looks as if step 6 on the thing i found is what you maybe need to do.
But feckin annoying.:mad::mad::mad:
and when i get angry with a problem it clouds my thinking brain, so i have to walk away before I get a box of matches and it "goes" for one last time!!!:eek:
Feel for you, Bud.

Yup step 6 is the next step or swan vestas.

Yor missus obvs likes wearing a flying helmet and goggles with that there superchaerger!
Did you see the Weheeler Dealers on it?
It was all about the 100k service where he needed to service the supercharger.
Which was a piece of pistachio, once you got it off, which was the big deal.
Just a matter of draining it of the two special oils then topping it up again with measured amounts of the special oils again.
But then you prolly know all this.

I think my colleague liked hers for the rev counter mounted on top of the dash where you can't see it through the steering wheel.
But the Cooper deffo does go quicker and the Cooper S (like Kev's missus's) with its supercharger goes like sh!t off a polished shovel.
In fact, I can't justify having one at all, but I'd quite like one. Altho all of Kev's problems are putting me off a bit.
I do have one of Guy Martin's books. He's a character isn't he? He makes his autism really work for him, doesn't he?;)
goo' nite mate!:):):)

'Tis freezing outdoors. Same temp as yesterday but with a wind chill factor, makes it feel a lot colder. Jobs to do today - 1). Puncture repair for dottirs / grandottirs buggy wheel. 2). Paint a bit of wood. 3). Chop up some more hedge ready for a tip run next week. 4). Chivas Regal and leather bag kicking around a pitch (watching, not doing). Have a goodun you all its Saturday :)
