White Christmas anyone?:D
Lovely idea...right up until you are the one with a power outage and they cannot get out to fix it, I should imagine. :(
Happened to us the one time our Christmas holiday was spent in North Wales. a holiday cottage on a farm where the old dear barely spoke any English. Her son tried like mad to find a generator. CH off, although oil fired, had some coal on an open fire, Christmas dinner was very cold red wine and paté on toast toasted over the same fire. We curt the holiday short after that. And there wasn't even any feckin snow. Just a storm with power lines down.:(:(:(

...that the Parcelforce guy must have been waiting round the corner to watch me leave home before attempting to deliver.
Card says he tried at 12:10 and I arrived back home at 12:15. How do they do it?
I had been in all morning. Now it means I will have to go to their sorting office tomorrow to pick it up myself.:mad:
They do! They do! Especially Hermes!!!

Stormy here as we've got up late.
Wifey off to her sewing club and the PO to send stuff to frogland.
Me off to Ringwood to pick up our auction stuff, and drop off the old blanket box.
(She won that miniature sewing machine, a Vulcan Senior and they still do spares for it, as she has already ordered needles.:rolleyes:)
So must get on as we too are expecting a delivery tween 2 and 3 pm.
Then it's more Frog Christmas cards followed by others to Engerland.
Oh and I have to mend some jewellery for Wifey. Glue and pliers jobs.:eek::eek:
All good fun!!
Have a good day folks!:):):)

Best of luck with it! Wifey has had old sewing machines mended but she don't have an overlocker, she'd like one though.
You'd be amazed what you can still find though. Prolly depends on the make. But eBay etc may have them, or even a second-hand or scrap one you could get for bits. Unless what's broken on yours is the bit that always breaks.
Best of luck anyway!!:):):)

We won't go down the route of 'How many ..... have you got' 'cos I'd win hands down on that. :D:D:D:D:D
Because this has had such little use, I am hoping that it won't need any parts BUT it is more than possible that something has done a LR trick and rusted away in storage. I did find a motor drive belt from an online retailer who said he only had four left so I bought one just in case :) I thought the odd few £'s was worth the gamble!

Thunder and lightning now!

It cleared up a bit for
