I was thinking air-powered would give me more power/speed, and also be more compact than a lectric one. So the link I put up was to air-powered ones.
I have no feckin clue as never had one never even used one. But do know I've got a lot of metal (rust) to cut out etc once I retire properly, i.e. can get to my projects.
A duga-duga is also going to be on my list. I do have a windy gun but its a bit pathetic. Can't even undo the wheel nuts on a Landy, or any other car for that matter. (Twas a present so don't put the cuffs on me!) I've tried using it precisely once.:(;).
But I await your advice as you is more genned up than meeself!:):):):)

I found that the air ones used alot of air as did the air chisel & the compressor was running most of the
time trying to keep up, unless you've got a big tank, not a tracked type afore some smart article pipes up. :D:D
I used my dewalt battery one to chop through some scaffold poles a few weeks ago & it was superb
also chopped up that shed roof 6x2 joists used for 45 mins on and off & had used 1 bar off the battery.
Get 3 bars the batterys, think I have 8 batterys in total. I really like my mini air hack saw but its missing ?? I had a look for the other replicating saw 240v & cant see that I must have gave that away too.

I fink a plasma cutter is the best way & tidy it up with your noo saw. :D:D
Dear Santa.......

Did you write in invisible ink:confused::)

This is madness. Just searched through my Google history and can't find it there either.
But I was reading it as I commented.

Will have to search again!
Arrr, wasit on the other lappy, which has been playing up?
Fink so!
Well ain't switching that beggar on again so let's see if I can find it!

Well thats my 4th week done, not enjoying it.
So despite it being a 7 min walk and great salary, guessing some would put up with it, its not for me.

@Glasgie , can I offer some gentle counsel here? Even though the new job is not working out/perhaps not what you were hoping for/job sold to you [employers are rarely straight at recruitment stage]...could you not wait until the New Year before moving on? And pocket a few more months salary.

Christmas is approaching, interest and inflation rates are up :. nett cost of living, and there's much discussion of significant market downturn next year. Securing a few months additional nett income could be a wise move, unless you're already comfortably deep pocketed. The New Year and leading into the new financial year always opens up more job opportunities.

Sometimes it pays to be mercenary as financial charity begins at home and the "Grin and Bank It...!" approach benefits you/your family.

Whatever your decision, good luck...
