Complaining in this way isn't worth it. It will only end in court because you want it to. You seem to want this to happen rather than working with them.

The link doesn't work for me anorl. They or you may have written it down wrong. The email they sent could be stuck in your online junk/spam box. All of these are problems that happen but not unsolvable. Problems businesses have daily. Annoying as they are, they can be resolved.

All you have to do is contact them again and tell them the link didn't work and you never received the email. Have you checjed yer spam box online? They're human after all. Mistakes happen. Things go wrong. Talk to them and work with them to solve it. To say you have cooperated enough and they're somehow lacking in response because if the link not working is unfair.

They will ask for pic's as some peeps will try it on for a discount. It's not unreasonable to ask for proof. The links not working so phone them and tell them. They will give you another or correct a mistake in the link if there is one. They may be able to provide an email address to send them too instead.

Yer seem to want to pick a fight with them. They haven't refused yer claim. They have asked to see proof. Yer currently at the stage of giving proof. IT related problem slowing this down. That is all. A friendly complaint can often work in yer favour with gift cards etc for further purchases.
I appreciate where you are coming from.
Maybe I am giving the wrong impression.
Where we are is:
1/ the website gives no where proper to complain about faulty goods. I had to go in via the "finance complaints" part of "queries"
2/ Their reaction so far has been a text with the website address to put the photos on. We tried to reply to the text but the address does not accept texts back.
3/ The website address doesn't work, of course I checked it against the one they sent. No mistake on my part.
4/ Then they rang talked with wifey and promised to send an email so we could send photos, again this never arrived and of course it isn't in the junk box either.

In between times I have sent them loads of messages via the "finance complaints" thing.
So between the two of us I have been the busiest trying to cooperate, they have send one useless text and one phone call which resulted in nothing.
I haven't waved any big sticks, I haven't mentioned court action or anything like that.
Of course I don't want it to end up in court, I have only mentioned here that it may well end up there as so often is has in the past. Usually they back down when they get the first communication from the court but not always.
I agree that what they WANT is reasonable, but it is not reasonable to make it so difficult for me to send them what they want.

Anyway I just checked online and they have received the letter with the photos, so I'll ring them in a bit to see what they say. ;)

I gave up talking to doctors, they are doom and gloom merchants ;)
....and the "booked" GP consult never happened.
I had to chase them, but I did get a lovely young lady Dr. on the phone and she was charming.
It seems I need to be careful of going out in the cold weather as my cholesterol is so high I am in danger of waxing-up. ;)
Surprisingly (for someone that drinks as much as I do) my liver is fine and my thyroid function is ok. A question-mark over my B-12 level.
All is OK then.

More!!!! you will end up with a complete wall of toolboxes at this rate:D. Is there a fridge in 1 of them to hide the beer for the "just spending some time in the workshop love":p.

J
I do actually have a fridge, yes. There is also the old electric cooker I removed when we got here. It thought, hmmm, a free annealing oven :D
I have ordered a bespoke shed to be built and installed so I need to fill it up with something.......

Cant put up any solid argument against any of that:D.
Enjoy :).
Oh and we want the bloody pics when you are setup, so we can be jealous:).

Near the top left of their web site is says 'free delivery and returns' - click on that.
Scroll down to 'damaged/faulty items' and there's a 'click ere' link in the text which takes you to another page.
then click on 'i have received damaged item' and fill out the box to message them.

The slowness on their part may be down to not receiving contact through the right channel. The messages sent to finance will have to be forwarded and entered manually into their 'care' system which deals with returns. The web entry option above will inject it into the 'care' system. Usually an operator will sit in front of said system and react to requests. It will give them the power they need to organise replacements, refunds or exchanges with a few clicks. They will be able to link this to the origional order etc which is what said fault will be credited against.

Just spotted this. Me and mortisha could make one ov thems
