What is this 'cassette' of which you speak?
Small French box... Hmmm :p:D
Fecks sight easier to manoeuvre and put in a head unit than a feckin CD.
This one happens to be my favourite Best of George Benson, so I is well p!ssed off, quite apart from the bleddy system not workin. You also can't scratch them!!! nor are they bothered if you drive over a bump. they just don't give so much "information". (They do take up a bit more space and you have to keep the machine prolly a bit cleaner than a disc player. not sure about this.)

More cheers got anover ;)

I seen your cassette player is fooked but I did look on ebay for you & if you wanted the same model
there are a couple for sale. I was takin the pizz on yer other fred tho. :D;)
Well I have yet to look back on my other thred so you iz a bit ahead of me!!!
What is daft is that it does have an "aux" setting but that isn't wired up to anything. If it had some sort of a female jack then I could use it, but, goldarn it, sometimes I actually like to play a cassette. I am hopelessly, romantically old skool!!!
I might just have to fix a female jack to it and somehow burn my cassettes to some other type of format. but that is just the sort of thing that fecks me off. If a simple thing don't work, normally I can fix it.
I'll have to go and look at tother fred now!!!:D:D:D:D:D

Morning all.
cold but bright here.
Me is sweating having had to use a scaffold pole to undo the front nearside staked hub nut.
so havin a break before finishing.
Crossed fingers it turns out to be the thrum thrum one.
Bloody head unit, even with its face bit off and the key not even in the ignition decided to try yet again to eject that cassette.
Fink I'm going to have to leave it on all the time, well you know what I mean, coming on as soon as key goes to acc. To tell it to pack its silly behaviour in and play some toons!
Have a nice day LZers:):):):)
