I use Opie Oils as my main supplier for oil and coolant for the various vehicles I look after for the family. You can plug in your reg number on their website and will find you the correct fluid for your jam jar, and deliver it in a day or two. They also do the castrol range.

Is it actually low though?

Have a look in the expansion bottle (sure I dont need to say check when COLD).

I had to get the handbook as there are three bottles together - all different colours! The blue one I know is the washer bottle so that left a yellow one and an orange one, so I got a torch and discovered that the yellow one says it is the power steering, the pictures on the orange one left me with no other option, it does have a couple of little pictures telling me not to open it when it is hot. Anyway ........... the answer is that it has less than the minimum line so it is definitely thirsty!

Don't pour your coolant into the cap marked 710.

Top it up with water. If the warning goes out and stays out over the week, then all is ok. Pop in to your guys next you are that way and ask to check the anti freeze % . But a little water wont hurt:).

Right, I'll do that and the take it to the LR dealer tomorrow.

Fing is if you go tomorrow it will probably be ok. As you have just been towing it puts more load on the beast and just driving there may show nothing.
They would need to do more than just coolant% check to confirm if you have a leak.

Its something I would monitor over a few days/a week under normal conditions.
