Did a couple of hundred miles on the old sunflower oil today, runs lovely. Just a few dents to sort and drivers door to strip and paint, looks well on the Lidl paint and does well over 50mpg at motorway speeds

I hired a plumber to help me restore an old farmhouse, and after he had just finished a rough first day on the job; a flat tire made him lose an hour of work, his electric drill quit and his ancient one ton truck refused to start.
While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence. On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. As we walked toward the front door, he paused briefly at a small tree, touching the tips of the branches with both hands.
When opening the door he underwent an amazing transformation.. His face was wreathed in smiles and he hugged his two small children and gave his wife a kiss. Afterward he walked me to the car.
We passed the tree and my curiosity got the better of me. I asked him about what I had seen him do earlier. ‘Oh, that's my trouble tree,' he replied 'I know I can't help having troubles on the job, but one thing's for sure, those troubles don't belong in the house with my wife and the children.

So I just hang them up on the tree every night when I come home and ask God to take care of them. Then in the morning I pick them up again.' 'Funny thing is,' he smiled,' when I come out in the morning to pick 'em up, there aren't nearly as many as I remember hanging up the night before.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance. We all need a Tree
(I didn't create this story, but loved it when I read it and wanted to share)

Nice one Dipps :)

She's a complete sweetheart, biddable , calm and friendly. A bit meek and needy, won't sit for a pic. House training is sketchy. She's got a few days to fit in or she's going back.
Give the b8gger a chance, I bet it took longer than a couple of weeks to house train you, in spite of all the work your mum put in trying. :D

Fender action today wtf is going on
The fender I bought recently & whilst taking it a mile home it sounded as if it had a destroyed cv joint or diff...errr nope axle stripped diff apart all good??? all splines on shafts n diff good.
Put half shafts into the diff on the bench working like it should, now the issue....
Diff back in & halfshafts back in and when the stub is fitted the shafts dont engage into the diff properly.
So there's the noise I was hearing.
Shafts too short, wrong cv's wrong swivels or stubs not sure wtf is going on here.
Wasted hours today putting it back together & taking it apart to find out somits not quite right.
Doing ma nut in.
Having trouble finding the axle code, bloody easier to buy another 24 spline axle.

You get two different lengths of stub. The earlier ones are a bawhair shorter I think. Don’t ask how I know :)
