I bet you need yer right hand dirdy boy lol
So how much is the v8 :D
In my head I am reviewing the Disco situation, and I think you probably have all of mine on a list somewhere!;););)
As usual, if a car is running i love it, but if it becomes difficult I dream of reaching for the matchbox.
I hate autos but wifey can't drive one.
We have to have one that can tow a car trailer from now on.
So once this beggars fixed I'll have to give it some good thinking.
But I thought you didn't want a V8 with LPG, which mine is?!
MUST get the 300tdi back on the road.

when its finished...
Here's a mad tip, use a tooth brush around all the fine detail.
I use this whenever I sell a car. It cleans the bits you can't even really tell are dirty and the overall effect is to make it look brand new.
I also lift up the rubber bits with a blunt toothpick to get under them so they are clean right up to the edges.
But then I get the feeling you are a valeter who missed his calling!
Are you buffing up the headlights as well?
Really am looking forward to seeing these pics!
and no, i never clean a car usually. Hate doing it. cos I can only do it one way, and that takes me three days minimum.

Basically get interview get job, not sure if id like it tbh. Somit to think about.:):)
Hmm paid work but you'd have to do what they say every day. No chance to feck off when you have other stuff to do. Can't see you doing it really but then what do I know!!!;)

Eye has a valet brush which is like a circular paint brush for doing the edges. When I cover it wiv snow foam (it's just high concentrate car shampoo that sits onnit ferrabit to soak into dirt) I go round all the edges like the window rubbers wiv me brush. Eye tape up the rubbers wiv masking tape so I can hand polish up to the edges anorl. The polishing gets the 'edge' dirt oft which is often stuck ont for many years. Ont paint work sitting by the rubber.

I will clean the headlights then wax them. The plastic is clear and undamaged at the moment. So no need to polish them.

Have to admit eye does like cleaning cars but haven't done it much for a while. Not had the time. This is the first time I have gone this far for about 8 years. I have a drive now which makes it easier. Was road side in a quiet area before.

Got up V late today.
Wifey needing me to do stuff on her pooter ordering stuff as it's in French.
Sorting out arrangements for the last coupla weeks of the hols, so we give folks lunches and apéros etc.
Bod came back to me on tother fred about my blasted Disco's noise, which convinces me I need to change the hub.
Hey Ho!
But If he and i are both right, it should sort it, which if it does i will celebrate with a lot of booze!
Weather here fine but no longer hot sadly. Looks like we will have been in the pool precisely once this year.
Which is why setting up a solar heating system for it is moving right to the top of the list. Friends of ours have done it and it worked really well for them. The weather has changed so much since we first had the pool back in 2008, thanks to planetary warming or whatever. Never had such bad heating of the pool until last year, seems to be just going down hill.:(:(:(
Have a lovely rest of the day folks!

Like your technique!:):):):)

Did the oil n filter change on SWMBO's jam jar this afternoon. Well placed drain plug on the underside of the engine for a straight drop without running up me sleeve. Easy access to the oil filter near the top of the engine. Sensibly positioned filler cap for no-spill filling. Job was a doddle.
