Don't get this. i much preferred Scottish beers to the sh!t they served in British pubs up until Camra brought decent beer back to us all.oh well not so bad. Every pub I tried round Oban only had the finest tennants piss. Hard to find Stella on draft outside of a premier inn up here
Stuff like Tartan, McEwans, etc was so much better than Watney's red barrel, Tankard etc. But then any port in a storm. Shudder to to remember those days. Did know one pub that had Lowenbrau on draught. but only one and he didn't often have it on. That was OK.
Can only drink Lager in the heat, so even in Frogland I have to cast around to find darker beers.
I don’t like all the heavy or 80 shilling etc. Stella is my true love but hard to find on tap

Having done the paperwork (unexpected) for the doggy passports last night I wanted them to catch the post in the toon this a.m. at 10:00, so ot up and went off before brekfus.
I thort the PO would open at 8:00
Wrong!
So i pootled off like a lickle frog, parked up, and went into a paper shop, then to a café where we had a chat about the Coronavirus Passport scanning thing.
He accepted my paper one and TBH I don't think he'd have had a problem serving me without it, but just for fun I got my phone out (Woo hoo, big event this!) fiddled around with it and then we tried scanning the NHS app.
First off it scanned the QR code.
"not valid" then I realised that was for my first jab, tried the second one, WOW! it worked!
Result!
So the mistakenly early visit paid off!
Docs posted off so back home to help took after doggy's recovery.
Also pm'd a bloke who i think might run a LR garage in the Charente. too far to drive but not to far if we stop on the way back. Or worst case scenario, could get recovered there maybe.
