Of course not for food but for parts for the landy.

We agreed ours need trimming. No, I have never before deemed it an essential! Air con in wales????? Ha Ha, a big umbrella I could understand the need. My big difficulty is not the internal temperature so much but the total lack of any shade outside for the K9s to hide in. The big one does have the sense to get under the van and stay there for the day but the little one just does not seem to approve of this, instead, he wants to stay inside with me all the time. Having a very long, thick coat does not help when trying to keep cool. Normally, they would be having a daily douche in the cold mountain stream but that is just not an option where we are in the 'van.
Mine are what is known as a 'natural' breed so they are NEVER clipped although I do sometimes feel the urge to ask the groomer to sheer it all off! The trouble is that it does not grow back as it was originally. We agreed our need trimming.
Normally we do it but it takes half a day per dog as we are not pros and my clippers always seem to feck up in one way or another.
Have a nice one gang!
How often do you have to water the flower when it gets this hot?105 f here today View attachment 243438
Ours shouldn't be clipped either, they should be "stripped". and when we got our first an ex-colleague who showed at Crufts, stripped her for us. But it took for ever.Mine are what is known as a 'natural' breed so they are NEVER clipped although I do sometimes feel the urge to ask the groomer to sheer it all off! Soon gonna be "off the clock"!105 f here today View attachment 243438

There is an aviation museum at East Kirkby, near Horncastle. Well worth a visit if you are up that way. They have a lancaster bomber which they bring out a couple of times a day and fire up the engines and taxi around - its not airworthy though. And an interesting collection of wrecked aero engines from WW2. Think they have a mosquito as well if I remember right. All based at a WW2 Raf station.@doriz have you visited the Bomber Command museum outside of Lincoln before?

You can book a ride in the Lancaster while it taxis. £385 well spent in my opinion. That is something I will cherish until the day I peg itThey have a website - check for days when they are open - not everyday.
