Afternoon folks:).

I have giving up working for today, I think I need to rehydrate:).
Guess I need to start at 7am tomorrow:eek: Or this job is gonna take a while ( not that that matters too much).

New Chlorinator should arrive tomorrow so that should help the wata as the chlorine level is low at the mo and I dont really want to add anymore chemicals if possible:). Might need to top it up to the evaporation is quite quick the last week:D.

350 quid plus vat, or an aftermarket on for 180 that doesnt fit.
The shop is a one man band he's been doing it as long as I can remember. :)
Good for you, there is a bloke near us who took over from his dad doing only Starters and Alternators, as you say a one man band.
So the buck starts and stops with him.
So he is entirely trustworthy.
Wouldn't go anywhere else.
It pays to cultivate these peeps!!
Hope you get it back on the road soon!

We used to have such folks round here (known to all the local mechanics) who could rebuild a steering pump, alternator, starter motor.
Sadly, in today's world of inbuilt obsolescence they are a dying breed.

Morning all I awakened with mega painful cramp in my left calf 15mins on an off ffs
bloody sore now im limping about.

Suns ott tis to be 25 degrees here, no way I'll be getting cooked all day early finish me thinks.:)
Njoy your day peeps.
@Shimsteriom hope you have a better day today lad. ;)
You need to train your missus to decramp you.
I've been doing it since my rugby playing days at school, in a dorm you could more or less guarantee a bloke would get it every other day.
Wifey gets it in the leg that has the paralysed foot on the end. :(
Mrs Kevstar just needs to straighten out your leg then put pressure on the ball of your foot until it passes. One hand pushing down on your knee, tother on the ball of the foot pushing it toward the knee to stretch the calf muscle. Hurts a bit till it's gone.
And don't release too suddenly, or too soon.
(The doctor is now "out"):):):):)

I reckon those days are gone. The timber merchant I went to (but didn't buy from) earlier this week said they are now quoting on daily prices as the market is so volatile for building materials. Probably anything that is imported is in short supply .
Tis the same in France so not necessarily to do with Brexit.
Same reason, peeps all busy doing this stuff while locked down at home.

So that's one hand on his knee and the other on his balls eh?

Well caught up now!
Went to bed stupid early last night, as falling asleep on the sofa.
Went shoppin this a.m. then to see some Dutch friends of ours. nice to catch up.
They normally spend the winter in their place in Bali, but Bali is shut for the foreseeable and the peeps there must be starving as their only biz is tourism and providing tourists with grub etc. :(:(
The Licence has landed! thank feck!
Nearly 7 months, DVLA is shot!:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Anyway, cool, gloomy and a little bit of rain here. but better is promised for next week.
Disco still making the thrumming noise.
Looks like I'll have to get under and start investigating the drive shafts/CVs/ Ujs.
Hey ho, what fun!
Have a nice rest of the day folks!:):):):)
