Evening folks:)

Well thats the visitor delivered back to the airport to go home, She will be back in about a month with her sis.
So we thought we would try a new place out of the many that have popped up on the water front/marina/Docks whatever but its by the wata and is nice.

So the bloody Navy are in, so we chose an eatery opposite the Royal navy.
HMS Trent.jpg

There was a Turkish, Ukrainian and a few others. So they sort of spoiled the view:D.
On the upside it was quite entertaining when they tried to take on wata (the big blue ose) it sprang a leak :) then the replacement wasn't long enough:). The poor guy wasn't happy entertaining the diners, specially as most of the others seemed be be dressed in their glad rags and off up town:D.

So if the Royal Navy is missing HMS Trent, I know where it is:D.

But the food was good, although they seem to have put the prices up to almost UK prices:( small bottle of beer was 2quid and the steaks were all over 20quid. Good job we don't go into town often otherwise I might have to consider going back to work:eek:, that is not happening:D.

hope all had a great weekend and those workers amongst us are fully recharged for the week ahead:).

Can you send it back when you have finished with it :)

It does nothing for us we live inland about 60klm away so not much use.
And by the look of the glad rags and smiling faces, it/they probably wont be ship shape to leave till late tomorrow:eek:, I don't expect much protection going on tonight:D.

But to be honest I would rather the tall ships than the Navy visit so much more class:).

We've been on it a coupla times, tis lovely to see the triple expansion engine working.:D:D:D

TBF if he had been shot into space earlier by his Dad, he wouldn't even be here. It was just poor timing on his father's part.
Bearing in mind how close he came to death in his challenge to cross the Atlantic in a balloon, this is not something he doesn't do, i.e. soemthing a bit dangerous.
Prolly less dangerous but then, what do I know!
