Seems to happen on our patio door when the light is strong on the window at the opposite end of the lounge. but no deaths as yet.
We have learned to draw the curtain on the other window.

Aye, our problem (or more accurately, the bords problem) is that we have a big hedge between us and the local bowling green, they flit around the green, land in the hedge and think they have another 100 sq yards on the other side, bord brains-;

Eh? Forgive me ignorance, but it’s Monday, tomorrow…in my bit of happiness…where are you? Scotland? They are a bit confused-;
As a relatively noo contribootor to this fred, you need a bit of introduction to the basics. Working peeps have Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Poets day and weekends. Us in the re-tyred contingent have six saturdays and one Saturday every week. And we have bank holidays off :p:D:D

Please explain how, as a semi re-tyred individual I seem to be working me knackers (is that term allowed in this LGBT+ world?) off for other people? Normally free of charge
All my days seem to be Mondays, at least ‘doon the pit’ I got Sundays off……has Northumbria become a satellite state of North Korea?

Well i'm sitting here and there is no noise outside, or flashes of light, but every now and then the lights dim for a nano second.
So I suppose I'll have to unplug the box again.
Pain!:rolleyes:
did very little today, it's sundaay innit?!
Managed to mend my new sunglasses, one lens and the stoopid screw fell out when I asked Wifey to get them out for me when we were driving down here. Don't have jewellers screwdrivers here, obvs, so had to improvise. Never wear the blasted things much anyway, makes it more difficult to read the instruments, especially the kph on the speedometer, and even Tom Tom seems dimmer, not that he's very bright at the best of times. He so often wants us to drive off the obviously straight A road route to a place, down some smutty side road.
Got to go to the Hotel des Finances tomoz, if they are open, to stop them sending the bailiff round to collect for the water bills we haven't paid, as Stan made the same mistake as last year, forgot to tell SIVAT (water company) of change of address when we was away!:rolleyes:
Always tell EDF and the town hall, for the local taxes, just forget Sivat, their bills being so low.
Thinking now the dog with the lump may have a hernia, it feels a bit like one.
We'll find out soon enough.:(
You can see why we laugh when we call out place a "holiday home", who does this sort of sh!t on holiday?:D:D:D
Sleep well folks!:):):)

Guid afternoon

Lazy day

Well gym for an hour and just in from a 5 mile walk in between torrential rain showers (ok got a bit wet)
So despite the rain its warm and humid and having a beer to cool down (did I say one ?)

Fried chicken n beer for dinner.

Looking forward to my last couple of days at work.

My colleagues surprised me on Friday with a we collection (£285) and speech
Did not know my work mates liked me so much, perhaps I'll stay .........................no danger.

:cool:
Consider yer sen lucky. I'll probably get a bottle of milk :rolleyes:

Our holiday home is in NZ, we arrive we, are smothered in love and alcohol and stories of who has done this and that, who’s persona non grata….after a couple of bottles we retire to bed and the next few weeks are like being in England …except you don't get 25degrees in February, love the place.

The sun's up already - quite a change from yesterday. Still a lot to do in the garden but I doubt I will be doing that today as it is fa too wet underfoot after heavy rain during the night. there is one plus though, the rain should help remove the copious amount of farm animal manure that I seem to have accumulated under my car!
New day, new week enjoy it folks. :)
