Nope. I was lucky in my job choices and my miserly disposition. Every large lump of cash that came my way as "bonus" etc. came off the mortgage. When mortgage free I just stockpiled money till I had just over £100k in the bank and started planning my escape via the heart-attack excuse to stop being so much a "company man", eventually they let me go in exchange for a cash payment.That is impressive
We do have this place as a final "downsize" cash booster if we ever need to and its maybe worth 500k but we like it here and my pensions are enough to keep us going. Only if I pop my clogs will herself need to consider selling up and downsizing.

Mobile internet connections go slow int daytime when everyone's using them.Well, after some overnight rain, the sun is out.
Wifey is going back and forth to he doctor to get the letter she needs to be able to take her drugs with her. She didn't do the obvious thing sadly.
So guess who is going to have to go and get it for her!!!

Spent a long time this a.m. trying to convince my mobile to access the NHS app.
As I have no idea about all this "roaming" stuff. God I HATE smartphones. Smart? The only thing they make smart is my ass!
I'm gonna have to go out and about and make it work. And it takes so LONG for it to load. If everyone takes the same time to load it on their phone at the ferry terminal the ship will never sail!
Loads in seconds vie Wi-Fi. Maybe they'll give us all a Wi-fi address at the port!

Eye has been a fix it hippo today. Me hair dryer kept switching oft. Thought it were the socket as it worked in anuvva but it failed again. The cable had failed were the bar holds it int place in the plug. Rewired un fixed.
Me baff room sink has always been slow to run oat so today eye took it apart. You bend blocked a bit. Cleared un fixed.
Cooked some crumpits to celebrate. Then caught up watching some YouTube. Then hadda nap ferra few hours.

I will say that I started my first pension plan at 18, while all my friends thought I was crazy. I have 5 pensions spread over 37 years of paying in as much as I could.
