@DanClarke you may now scoff as my wonderful lathe has shed its drive belt and is out of action until the new Flexco Alligator clips arrive :(

Morning all :D
Both of us are up early because we have our second blood-clot Covid-19 jab at 09:10.
Got her a paper, having a coffee and then off we go to meet our doom. ;)
Have a great day today everyone. :D
The DVT doc and I had a long chat today, he says there's no other indicators for my clot so it is apparently a one-off. We talked about the jab and agreed that there was nothing to really link it to that either, but agreed that no-one really knows enough about it all yet.

So we agreed the best thing is to keep active once I am back to normal, in about 2 weeks time.
So hope it goes OK for both of you.

Very sorry to hear this sad news. :(
Because my initial experience with the crock of absolute $hit mini-lathe was that it ate the supplied drive belt in about 1 hour; I modified it and used a bigger & better belt and bought "2" so I always have a spare ;)
