Ffing hot here!
Just had a nice sit out in it with Wifey for a beer, then panicked as realised i had forgotten about going for my second jab.:rolleyes:
Fortunately realised in time.
4:50 pm, rush hour in both directions.
So better set off soon.
Wifey went to Hygenist today, said they have all sorts of vacuum cleaners/ fan things set up. To suck the air away from in front of the patient and the tooth bashers' faces.
Must make an appt for a check up since they are doing them now.
Chicken Blanquette thing tonight, yet another new recipe Wifey is having a go at. (Tis one benefit of lockdown, she has pushed the boat out quite a lot recently cuisine wise.);););):):):)
See you all later!:):):):)

Hope you are ok with it ...

Another $h1t day in the garden of doom/despair.
Went to place a final closing fence panel in and discovered that right where the fence post hole got bashed thru was a clay drainage pipe that we did not know was there. Totally shattered!
Will be a day and bit's work to excavate the wreckage out and repair. :(
Got mugged by my own son who it transpired had commissioned all this work and HAS NOT paid Tom a penny, and this is the 3rd week? I am appalled.
I transferred money to ensure Tom was paid the £2,100 he is rightfully owed. I am really so very disappointed, and I feel I have been "played". I have told him this is/was the last time I ever help him.
We did a dry lay of the patio pavers to check for pattern.

The like is for the patio, not the situation with your son. I feel for you my friend.

Sorry about the drainage pipe mate, what a p!sser!!!:(:(:(:(:(:(

And as for the son.
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

This must really stick in Dan's craw. I don't know how he manages to turn out for "work", every last minute spent there must stink and I am sure he is only doing it for Tom's sake.
Words fail me.:(:(:(:(
To say I am "annoyed/distressed/pi$$ed-off" by what transpired today is an understatement. When I have my wife cold shouldering me because I am not just handing cash over without a murmur and yet I am played for a fool really gets my goat.
Sometimes I wonder why I bother. Maybe I should have walked out 25 years ago when an opportunity presented itself for "another life". I stuck it out because it was "the right and decent thing to do". Now I just feel completely undervalued and taken for granted in all arenas of my life. FCUK-THIS! Ha! Ha!:mad::mad:

Wonder if she was/is aware of this latest development. If she is/was then .................seriously, OUCH.:(:(:(
Not on the same scale but I too stuck with my ex-wife for the last 4 years of a 7 year marriage for exactly the same reasons, as i felt i had taken her away from her family and country. So i do know how you feel about doing the right and decent thing.
so when she told me she was feckin off, I could barely stop myself leaping for joy!
But this doesn't help you.

In your shoes I'd get feckin roaring drunk and sleep on the sofa, or watch crap on the TV/pooter all night.
Then, if she knew about it, change standing orders so all money goes to your account and discuss her needs for "housekeeping".
Son would be written out of my will if he was mine, we did it to our son until he got his head screwed on right, so again, been there with this sort of stuff too.
Families, fantastic when they work but a bit sh!t when they don't.
Stay with the faith man, we are here for you!:):):)

Unbelievable problems fitting my toy truck wheels, I ordered the wrong size tyres for my drive axle and they dont match with the trailing axle.
Had to uncouple my dolly from it's trailer and take the tyres off for my drive axle.
Then I couldn't get the twin wheels to spin straight and true so I gave up for the day,

No I can use the new tyres on the very back axle of the trailer, they are 16" tall rather than 15" so you won't notice them on the rears.
18 wheels all together, picture of what I'm making, it's only a toy but will be three eighths scale and will drive, have brakes, lights etc

I wouldn't want one but my God, that is going to be feckin impressive.:):):):):)
Mates from my kit car club, do this sort of thing. Don't you ever get the urge to build a kit car?
Can't be any harder!
