Second jab tomorrow. Followed by digging the needle out of me arm bone, and blud clotts

Good luck:)
We have to wait another 3 weeks:( for our second. Then its party:D.

We would both dearly love to go back to the UK at the moment. Ms mum has just lost her partner, and my brother is in treatment for "C". but we just need to hang in there a little while longer, we all hope:).

Evening All :D
Another "full-ish" day in the garden of despair. :)
Returned the trailer to the nomadic caravan dwelling gents and we were greeted warmly and our deposit was immediately returned before any real discourse took place. In fact it was handshakes all round. :)
WE installed all the main drainage pipework/sumps etc. and re-whackered the type1 back again.
Then we fitted a bridging-unit in the kitchen and finally installed an outside tap and associated plumbing (in preparation for the cement-mixing next week).
Back here and home BBQ'd Bacon Cheese burgers & chips. Now sinking into a few G & T's.
Off to vote before they shut.

That's a nasty looking crack in the base concrete (bottom-left) of the picture.
Was that all in the one day? I am impressed. :)

The block was knocked with one of the dogs after it was laid just needs re-set, some more brick
to go along the front, will sort it then. Kit work was done today the lower joists have taken a day or
so to get the levelling the building is far from square lol Got a lot done today though. :);)

Not much to report today.
Having bought a light fitting at the auction last week i accidentally bust a part of it!
So two days ago I tried to fix it with a bit of epoxy. Didn't quite hold, so yesterday cleaned it up, improved the clamping device, sanded the bits a bit more to give the epoxy chance to bite better and tried again. Seemed to have stuck this morning until I tried to remove the improved clamping device, then it came off again!
So rethought the whole ruddy thing, disassembled the whole light fitting and worked out a better way of holding the offending item with a magnet. Will give it two days to dry properly this time.
Took a load of pine furniture to the auction along with a couple of stoneware cider jars, one in a basket and a load of Wifey's unwanted jewellery.
We'll prolly get about £5 for the lot!
Voted - forgot our pens/pencils!
Bought yet another 300 litres of topsoil from Wickes as the old pond still ain't full.
Faffed about trying to work out the values of both our places, not as easy as I thort. Could not believe the values of places round here. (Have to put this on these blessed French bank forms.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:)
We are worth so much more dead than alive!;):(

Do they not accept half curly wirlleys and half sucked boiled sweets either:eek::eek::D:D.

It’s a rough number should be easy to pick a “Low” ball park number;).

know the feeling of the value of life;) we are trying our best to spend it:D:D:D.

Did ask the bank burd if it was better to go high or low, she didn't think it mattered. We think it may make a bit of a difference when it came to applying for a long stay visa, so have been as honest as we can. We want them to be sure we can afford to go over there and live easily for a long stay.

As for spending it before we croak, Wifey is seriously getting into it, as she is 8 years older than me, I am also allowing my short arms to grow a little longer into my pockets.
Doing so many things now knowing it will be the last time I ever do it.:( Having my brother on probably a short life span left also clarifies the mind.:(:(:(
