Us boys av great big granddaddy Dyson that you plug into the mains. Deals with anything including mud & gundog hair mix and has done so for 10 years. Can clean the house twice on a binfull. We also have a Henry because however good a Dyson is you can't clean a chimney with it. You can with a Henry.
The Doris has a thing about battery Dysons and has bought three of them (not all at once). They are universally shīte, bin is pathetically small, battery lasts 10 minutes and they couldn't suck up a small spillage of flour. Why that nauseating little weed and unpatriotic money-chaser carries on with them completely bamboozles me.
.....cos he makes money out of selling them, in threes?;)

No sun, no rain and no wind - yet! I hope we get it all over in one day, we do need rain but wind is an unwelcome side effect.

All's quiet 'ere but I still haven't finished all my wheelbarrowing task and my hands are still suffering from their workout with the upholstery, I am however, going to observe a truce in celebration of the Bank Holiday - thinking it is about time they changed that name. Most of our banks have gone and the ones that you can find only work for a couple of days a week, the rest seem to be weekly bank holidays.
However you intend to celebrate the non-working day, enjoy it to the full. :)
