....cold and breezy today but no rain :)
The conservatory re-build continues and today we managed to get the timber roof structure basically completed.
We will hopefully put the OSB3 boards on tomorrow and as a minimum drape the rubber roof over the top to keep the rain out.
Here is a picture of the roof as it has progressed (so far).

If you buy packs of the tiny batteries they are a lot cheaper, …..

Here are my workings out on the truth of this statement:

1 watch needing 1 battery every two years.
At 78 years old, at the most I have 22 years left - probably fewer.
All batteries have a limited 'use by date' of about 5 yrs max.
This means I will only be able to use a maximum of three batteries before either they or I reach the end of our useful lives.

Conclusion
Buying in bulk because they are cheaper is FALSE. :D:D:D
Discuss.;)

Does this mean you are basically going to end up with a flat roof?:(

Yes but whoever you leave the watch to is on to a winner :D

Just found a Disco on Auto trader Cat D owner states, "stolen recovered 10 year ago, not damage repaired"
Gov .uk checker states "Cat D, not stolen, tick, damaged repaired, tick"
WTF!
Shame as although its a basic model it looks dead good, low mileage, only two owners and passed every Mot, no advisories, for donks except one, on a ball joint.
How thick do people think punters are?:(

Normally when I find things like that I copy an paste it in a msg to the seller.

If I was seriously looking to buy, I'd prolly just ask the seller outright. But also thought "go and check it out" If it's OK damage-wise, buy it, cos it does look pretty cossetted and i think when he bought it he was prolly told this tale by the original seller.
Then you could always get onto him afterwards, present him with the evidence and demand some money off.
But actually I wouldn't do that as I just can't be that calculating/manipulative.
But doubtless others will.
He's either naive, or thinks all the punters are!
Anyway, what sort of answers have you had to messages like that?;)
