Bugger, just heard from the hinterview people from this morning and I didn't get the job.

It looks like I am destined to return to working in a high paying IT job that I don't enjoy.
Oh shame!
Did they give you a reason? (not that it is any of our business, and not that it makes any difference. :(:(:(:()
So, back to the drawing board.:(
Feel for you, mate.:(:(:(

The reason was the usual "there was someone with better experience".

I'm not too bothered as I've already signed a new contract to start the IT job later in April. ;)
Can't "like" this.
Always makes me wonder why they interview people when they say this after. They must have known this from the CVs.
What were they expecting?
Still, as you say, you do have somewhere else to go!;)

So at the end of day 2 of the great conservatory re-work we are re-assembled as stud walling and ready for the external sheeting to be applied tomorrow and to start on the roof. Tom & I have worked really hard (and I really feel it too!)
